All students at the Junior High level take the compulsory core courses listed below. MBS core subjects are enhanced with the accompanying yearly emphasis to promote high achievement.

  Students at Mary Butterworth School will be taking four option classes during the 2006 - 2007 school year based on a trimestered reporting sytem. New booklets describing the programming plans for the 2006 - 2007 school year are now available. These booklets describe in detail such items as the Mary Butterworth school vision and philosopy, timetable, options and selection, code of conduct, dress code, attendance and late policy information, as well as the LAMPS (Language Arts and Math Program Support) period which occurs just after lunch everyday.
