ASSESSMENT AND REPORTING


1. The process of reporting and assessing student progress is continous and ongoing throughout the year and parents and students are encouraged to keep a running tab of how they are doing. The staff of Mary Butterworth employ a variety of mulitfaceted strategies, tests, daily work, observations, projects, presentations, etc. in making an overall evaluation of each student.

2. Student self-evaluation and parent input is very important. The home environment must support and nurture the learning environment for all students and parents are encouraged to get actively involved with their child's learning.
